OOTD: “Scarlett Prism”
Whoever said that dressing up isn’t a picker-upper lied. I must be honest, I was in a shitty mood earlier, pardon my french, but once I got all dressed up and put on this “freakum dress”, it was all good. This is another creation by designer G’wan by Charon that I previously introduced you all to HERE. The dress that I’m wearing today is called the Scarlett Python Prism Print Dress ($85, Sizes S-3X). It’s a one-sleeved bodycon with a sheer mesh on the left bottom side. Can I just say I felt ultra sexy in this number. No plus-size woman should EVER say that there aren’t enough clothing options for them.
At first I was a little intimidated thinking that I couldn’t pull it off with the extra holiday weight that I’ve gained, but thanks to a great body-shaper and waist cincher underneath, it was on point. The Scarlett dress has bits of fuchsia, teal and black in it so I went for my new ‘pole dancer’ pumps to go along with the whole ‘freakum dress’ theme. (That’s just a joke folks, no I don’t strip, lol). The pumps are by Alba and although I got mine from Citi Trends for only $30, they aren’t available from that store online. But I did find them HERE online for $65. You can go bare-leg of course in the summer months with this dress but since it’s chilly out, I opted for my fave flesh-tone hosiery, Barely There, by Hanes.
