Today for church I broke out some of my latest duds for Spring that I had in my closet. We had a 70 degree day here in VA so it was the perfect time to go sleeveless in this Zora Black and White Sheath Dress by Midnight Velvet. The company contacted me a few weeks ago to do a review and I chose this dress as my first choice. I have always shopped Midnight Velvet for years for household accent pieces but their clothing is something to check out also. This particular dress has an asymmetrical shoulder strap and the front is black and white while the back of the dress is all black. It is fully lined and made of a polyester/spandex mixture so the fit on is nothing short of comfortable. Plus, the Zora dress comes in sizes S-3X and is available for only $69.95 – $79.95 on orders placed by April 30th. But for one of my lucky readers, you can win a $50 gift card from Midnight Velvet to put towards this dress or any item of your choice just by leaving a comment below stating that you want to participate in my giveaway. In keeping up with my monochromatic look, I also wore this COLLARLESS BUTTONED COAT ($120) from Simply Be. Although it was a warm day, the weather can still be tricky so I carried it along just in case. (We’re expecting a snow storm tomorrow, go figure). The collarless coat can be worn in a variety of ways. Last night I paired it up with jeans and today I decided to dress it up with the Zora dress. This winter I opted for more longer coats and this one was a great choice to add to the wardrobe. Being that it is collarless, there are no worries about make-up smudges on the collar or your necklace getting tangled on the neck area. Speaking of which, the statement necklace and bracelet that I’m wearing are both from Ashley Stewart and are available only in-store.
As for my other accessories, I’m wearing the Christian Siriano for Payless Women’s Emme Shopper Tote ($24.99) and the Fioni Women’s Ignite Assymetrical Peep Toe Booties ($29.99, Sizes 5-13) also from Payless. These are both part of my recent shopping haul from Payless that I posted on HERE. (The booties are also a look for less that I will post on at a later date).
