OOTD: “Maddalena”

I’m so late in posting this dress as I was saving it for a special event over the summer but that function was unfortunately canceled. But it worked out that I can still showcase it now as an example of how to transition your maxi from the summer to fall. I’m wearing the Igigi Maddalena Maxi Dress in the black and ivory print. As per most Igigi dresses, this can be worn year-round as it is sleeveless but comes with a black shrug for those cooler days. (I even gave it a rocker chic look by adding a leather moto jacket over it later in the day).

Now this maxi is very long and even though I’m 5’9 I would recommend some sort of high-heel shoe. I am currently obligated to flats only so I had to be extra careful when walking due to the length. Since the dress is made of the trendy color pallette of black and white, I just added a bold statement necklace to accent the neckline. Best thing about these maxi’s are the fact that in most cases, no shapewear is needed and being that they are fully lined that works perfect for my growing “bump”.
