Isabel Toledo for Lane Bryant’s Spring 2015 Collection

Designer Isabel Toledo is releasing her 4th collaborative collection next month with plus-size retailer Lane Bryant. Remember, I attended the runway show for her first collection with Lane Bryant last March in New York. This collection takes on an ode to the ‘mod’ era complete with the big hair being worn on the model in the lookbook pics. In the spirit of creative collaboration, Isabel’s husband, artist Ruben Toledo, sketches the romantic, whimsical illustrations that Isabel brings to life. Of the clothes, she says, “they are full of wonderful, quiet details that women will find special and highly wearable. You can dress them up or down depending on your personal style. I want the client of Lane Bryant to mix my capsule collection with the rest of her Lane Bryant wardrobe to create her individual looks. That is modern American style at its best!”
