OOTD: #ImNoAngel
So as you’ve heard by now, a couple of weeks ago plus-size retailer Lane Bryant released their I’m No Angel campaign. Since then the ads have become viral taking over buses and billboards. Evidently consumers want to see more body shapes and sizes repping in lingerie than just the normal size 0 model. Celebs like Salt & Pepa, Fantasia, Mary Mary and Amber Riley have also joined in and shown their support. LB CEO Linda Heasley says, “Our #ImNoAngel” campaign is designed to empower ALL women to love every part of herself. Lane Bryant firmly believes that she is sexy and we want to encourage her to confidently show it, in her own way.”
I was just saying to myself last week how could I get my hands on one of these tees and what do you know, to my surprise I received one in the mail directly from Lane Bryant later that day. So myself and other bloggers have been styling our tees all week to show our support and today I’m wearing mine, as a crop top, with a trendy tutu skirt and flame platform pumps. (I was empowered to be brave and show a lil stomach just 4 months after having a baby). For those that have been asking, YES, the shirts will be available for all to purchase in Lane Bryant stores next month.
Looking goooood…:)
Love the shirt and the shoes are fabulous. I can’t believe your tummy is so flat already. You go girl!!
