How To Get That Look: “Jennifer Hudson’s Skater Dress on 106 and Park”
I’m trying to catch up on my DVR recordings from earlier this week and I just finished watching Jennifer Hudson’s performance from Tuesday on BET’s “106 and Park”. She looks uber great with her new svelte figure and I really liked the skater dress that she had on. She was wearing a Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress, gold Bavna bracelets and sky-high Christian Louboutin heels. Now although she’s no longer in the “plus-size” community I still have to rep for my curvy ladies. So I found a similar dress like the one she had on in plus-size. Jennifer’s dress was long sleeved but this one I’ve discovered is short sleeve but still has the same 60’s effect. I have liked this dress for months now after I first saw it on the Asos website but I’m not really one for super short dresses. Then I thought about it once I saw Jennifer in it. You can always wear black tights with a mini dress to camouflage thick thighs & imperfections if needed. So here’s my similar look:
