OOTD: The Miss Tina “Splash Print” Maxi Dress
So as I normally do on a daily basis, I was stalking the Wal-Mart site on Monday to see if the new Miss Tina collection had been uploaded, and to my surprise it was. Boy was I happy. Her last collection only had a few pieces available on the Wal-Mart site and gas is too high to be running from store to store to locate my size in the pieces that I like. So I was ecstatic to see 52 items available in her collection. More so the fact that there were sizes up to XXL still available. Now I did preview a few of her new summer pieces a week or so ago here on my blog, but not all of her stuff was in the Wal-Mart that I visited. I just love ease of ordering online at your own convience, and the 97 cent shipping isn’t bad either. I received my shipment only 2 days later. Can’t beat that.
Anyway, I wore one of her maxi dresses today on a field trip with my son and his class to the park. I figured since I would be surrounded by such beautiful scenery why not take some pics in my new dress at the same time. (It was a bad hair day so I threw on my straw hat, so try not to focus on that too much, lol). From trying the dresses on in the store the other week, I already knew that I really liked the Miss Tina maxi’s. (https://bellastyles.com/2011/04/25/the-miss-tina-summer-2011-collection-at-wal-mart/). They’re so comfortable and the material feels nice and soft on. Perfect for travel, relaxing or in my case, a day in the park. So I actually ordered quite a few of them, while my size was still available, in different patterns. Now all of the maxi dresses are officially called the “Printed Twist Front Maxi Dress” so I gave this particular pattern the name of “Splash Print” since it looks like paint splatter. It has hues of navy, turquoise and even a pop of yellowish-green in the design. Therefore I added jewelry of that same color scheme with it. Checkout my pics:
