Voting Has Now Started For Me In the “2011 Project Style” Contest

Last week I posted a blog about a new contest that I’ve entered here in Richmond called “Project Style”. (https://bellastyles.com/2011/05/11/please-vote-for-me-in-the-2011-project-style-fashion-competition/). It’s sponsored thru Short Pump Town Center, Shoptopia & Style Weekly. I “never” usually do contest where voting is involved because I hate to hassle people. But I feel this particular contest has my name written all over it, so I entered. I had to put together a complete outfit for less than $150 and of course being a “budget fashionista”, I did it without a problem. I was just informed though that there is a short registration of your name and email to vote but that’s only to deter people who may cheat. So please don’t let that discourage you. My trend theme was the “Tribal/Aztec” look. So I opted for this maxi dress, which is also a top style must have this season, and I even mixed in a lil 70′s flare with the floppy hat. Not everything always has to be matchy-matchy so I paired up the dress with brown feather earrings, navy/gold shoes and the turquoise clutch to bring out all facets of my color scheme.
