Voting Has Now Started For Me In the “2011 Project Style” Contest

Last week I posted a blog about a new contest that I’ve entered here in Richmond called “Project Style”. (  It’s sponsored thru Short Pump Town Center, Shoptopia & Style Weekly. I “never” usually do contest where voting is involved because I hate to hassle people. But I feel this particular contest has my name written all over it, so I entered. I had to put together a complete outfit for less than $150 and of course being a “budget fashionista”, I did it without a problem. I was just informed though that there is a short registration of your name and  email to vote but that’s only to deter people who may cheat. So please don’t let that discourage you. You can vote once a day until the contest ends on May 30th. I thank you all in advance and here’s the voting link again:

My trend theme was the “Tribal/Aztec” look. So I opted for this maxi dress, which is also a top style must have this season, and I even mixed in a lil 70′s flare with the floppy hat. Not everything always has to be matchy-matchy so I paired up the dress with brown feather earrings, navy/gold shoes and the turquoise clutch to bring out all facets of my color scheme.
