OOTD: “The Miss Tina Scroll Jade Maxi Dress”

I’ve been secretly stalking the Wal-Mart website every week since around March scoping out the new spring/summer Miss Tina collection. I have so many of her items from previous collections and I am a loyal fan. Not only are you getting quality fabric in your items but nothing’s over $20 either. Well I had placed a few items in my wish list/shopping cart a while ago and then last week when I finally decided to purchase them my size was sold out. I was heartbroken. But about a few days ago a light-bulb went off in my head and said to go back to the Wal-Mart  website and do a store check on the items that I missed out on. I’m so glad I did that too, it showed that my local store had the dress that I wanted  but there was ‘low stock’. So early Thursday morning I ran to Wal-Mart and low and behold, my size and the style dress I wanted was in the store. I was like a kid in a candy shop. (Shopping Hint: When shopping for Miss Tina products in Wal-Mart, just look for the black hangers with her name stamped on them. That differentiates her clothing from the others that are on the regular white hangers).  I purchased the twist front maxi dress in agean scroll jade. This dress is just like the splash print version I wore last May. I believe I have about 10 of these dresses in total in all different prints. That’s how much I love this style. It’s perfect for a casual day or you can dress it up a little such as I did below:

I wore yellow ballerina flats as my casual look and paired the dress with fuchsia sandals to dress it up a bit. You can wear the dress plain but I’m such a color fanatic, I added a yellow belt, yellow earrings and bracelets in all of the colors to bring it all together.

For the dress-up version, add a bold clutch such as this oversized pink clutch from Simply Be
