OOTD: “Red Hot at New York Fashion Week”
While attending the New York Fashion Week Runway Show on yesterday, I wanted a knock-out outfit. Very seldom do I wear an item more than once especially if it’s really unique. I figure once it’s been seen it’s no longer a thrill to me. (I wouldn’t suggest that for my readers though because it can get expensive. That’s just one of MY personal little pet peeves as a blogger). But I’ve had this NaKIMuli dress in my closet since 2010 and I’ve only worn it once before. I love NaKIMuli’s African inspired designs and how she puts a trendy twist to them. But the great thing about this number is that it can be reversed. Although I didn’t reverse it I wore it again because it matched my Prada Flame look-alike sandals perfectly. I was originally gonna wear this to the Wendy Williams Show but once I re-read her dress code guidelines, I realized that this was a little ‘too busy’ for TV but perfect for Fashion Week. I just matched up the red, black and gold from out of the sandals with those exact same colors in the dress. Being that it was also my first time there I was so thrilled when other attendees were stopping me to take pics of my outfit and shoes. (Let me know if you see my pics on other sites too, wink wink)
