OOTD: “Tru Sunday Diva”
Today I’m wearing a dress that was gifted to me from designer Veronica Lipscomb of Tru Diva Designs. You may remember I featured her clothing in a previous post. This dress is made of a sheer multi-colored fabric with a tie-bow on the right shoulder. Even though the dress is sheer it isn’t a thin material, which is good, but I wore a black slip underneath just the same. (That’s the old-lady in me, lol). By it being long-sleeved, now that it is the Fall season, it was the perfect time to wear it. I really like the Mossimo inspired zig-zag design in the pattern. The dress is an A-line design so to accentuate my waist, I added a wide belt in the color of fuchsia and shoes to match. The dress is called the “Marilyn” after Marilyn Monroe, thus the A-Line design. With the tie-bow neckline and long sleeves not much jewelry was needed. Which gave me the opportunity to finally wear this bracelet/ring combo that I purchased in New York earlier this month. I have been watching this new jewelry trend and was eager to try it out for myself. But you have to wear it with an outfit that won’t call for a lot of accessories. So that’s why I wore it as my only jewelry today.
