The Tadashi Shoji Fall 2013 Collection During New York Fashion Week


So after missing my first show of the day at NYFW I meant that I wasn’t gonna miss the second one. After a quick wardrobe change, running over to Saks Fifth Avenue to browse then grabbing a bite to eat at Trump Towers, I made sure that I was back to Lincoln Center in time to attend the runway show for designer to the stars, Tadashi Shoji. This was my second time attending one of his shows during New York Fashion Week. The collection consisted of lots of black, red and navy. Tadashi said he was inspired by Russian Empire. As per previous collections, there were various pieces made of chiffon, lace and a little velvet was in there too. I sure hope he makes the silver & black long dress in plus-size. That was my fave. Celebs in attendance were socialite Angela Simmons and runway coach/former America’s Next Top Model judge, Ms. J. (whom I got a pic with too). These pieces below really stood out to me though:
