OOTD: “Wole The Rain Away”
Back in mid-May I introduced my readers to a plus-size designer by the name of Wole’ LLC. Well I also had this dress by them called the Kelly Resort Wrap Gown, $149 that I have been waiting to wear from the new spring/summer 2013 Resort Collection. You see I was saving such a special dress for a special occasion which was supposed to have been last weekend. I had the unique opportunity of interviewing singer/actress Tamela “Cora” Mann when she was here in VA. But due to a scheduling conflict, we were unable to meet. But don’t fret, we have agreed to just do it by phone at a later date, so look out for that. Anyway I wanted to wear something classy yet stylish at the same time for meeting such a highly-respected gospel artist. That’s why I was gonna choose this dress by Wole’. So I’m wearing it today instead to showcase all of the great detailing involved in this design. The dress consist of the color scheme of teal green, burnt orange and a neutral beige which is why I paired up my nude pumps along with it. The Gown wraps in the front, has a side tie, and 3 quarter length sleeves.
I must say that this dress fits perfect and is a nice staple piece to have in your wardrobe for work. (If you are large busted then opt for a cami underneath though). I’m also showcasing my new handbag by Nicole Lee. I’m not sure of the style name and price just yet as it was sent to me for a review. But most Nicole Lee bags that I have worn in previous posts run around $70. Although the dress isn’t an animal print per say, I just felt that this handbag with the snakeskin detailing went perfect with it and the nude shoes. I am a sucker for Nicole Lee bags so I was gonna make it work regardless. Plus to top things off, it was raining cats and dogs today but I was not gonna let that stop me from finally wearing my new items and taking pics for you all. I’m a true-blue blogging fanatic!
