OOTD: Week #5- Fashion Friday in the Just My Size Chain-Trim Printed Tunic
For this installment of the Just My Size Fashion Fridays look, I’m showcasing how to take a boardroom look to an evening style with the 3/4 Sleeve Chain-Trim Printed Women’s Tunic in Black/White (Style #25354, $24.99, Sizes 1X-4X). I’m first wearing it as an office look, something suitable for a board meeting, by pairing it up with the Charcoal JMS Full Comfort Pants, Tall (Style #24817, $32.99, Sizes 14W-32W). I ordered the tall length to ensure that they would fall nicely over my pumps. These pants fit excellent I might add. Very seldom do you come across a dress pant that doesn’t bunch up on you during the day. They have a two-button tab on front of the waist-band so adding my originally planned skinny belt was out of the question. But no worries, by wearing a wide belt, I chose red, I was able to cinch the waistline and add a dramatic effect to the ensemble while still keeping it classy and work appropriate. Since the top has a chain accent I would suggest not wearing a necklace and simply add earrings, I went for a pop of color by doting red and black accessories.
Then to switch up gears a little and wear the tunic for perhaps a date-night, I wore it with a pair of faux-leather leggings and a blazer. (My hair was different in these pics because they were taken in early October before my new hair-do). For a sleek look under the top and dress pants, I suggest wearing the JMS Satin Stretch Wirefree Bra in Black ($12.99, Style #8317, Sizes 38D-50DD) and seamless briefs ($12.99 for 3-pk , Style #122157).
