OOTD: “Taxi Cab Style”
If you read my Kate Spade Obsession post the other day then you already know that I recently purchased these “Go Taxi Flats” from the brand. At first glance I was sold on these babies. The fact that I love NYC, an eye-catching shoe and also a great flat suckered me in. The shoes are yellow, white and black patent and have the word ‘Taxi’ written on the top toe portion. Now these lovely conversation flats will run you $278 but Nordstrom has them on sale now for only $222 and on the Kate Spade website they are 25% off this weekend by using code “S14FFUS”. I grabbed mine without second thought because since sizing is available from a 5-11, I knew my size would probably go quick.
It was a fashion miracle that I spotted these shoes last week on the site because I had just signed on to host a giveaway with Nicole Lee again and my bag of choice was the yellow and white “TRINITY MOD CHECKERED BRIEFCASE”. The Spring theme for Nicole Lee is ‘yellow’ and matched up great with my flats. The Trinity bag may look familiar to some because I posted on it as a Louis Vuitton Look for Less early last year. That’s right for thousands less, at only $73.99, you can own this trendy purse. The bag can be worn with or without the shoulder strap and is a good size at 12×7.5×3 dimensions. If you’d like a chance to win aNicole Lee bag from my giveaway, be sure to like both the Bella Styles Company Facebook page and the Nicole Lee Facebook pages and comment below what bag attracts you the most on their website.
Last but definitely not least is my attire that I paired up with my fab accessories. I kept it sorta simple in an all black dress but the dress is a staple in itself with a peek-a-boo cut-out at the stomach area. It is called the Cropped Dress in Black ($42, Sizes 1X-3X) from Chic and Curvy Boutique. Crop dresses are on trend for this Spring season. Chic and Curvy Boutique also has statement necklaces in stock now and I’m wearing the Spikes and Deco Necklace ($25). My thoughts are if you’re wearing this outfit in the big city, chances are hailing a cab won’t be a problem, lol.
