OOTD: “A Cut Above”

The Cut Jumpsuit Collage

Back in February UK plus-size company Evans released an exclusive collection called Cut for Evans. The line was inclusive of clothing in bold hues and graphic prints. I first posted on it HERE. Well it went on sale a couple of weeks ago and I managed to grab one of the items that I really liked, the pink and green jumpsuit, for only $45. It was almost double priced at first.  Now Evans has a UK site as well as a USA site and I of course ordered from the USA site. But that site seems to be down at the moment and that explains why my highlighted links are to the UK site. But if you want to purchase something just keep trying and remember to order two sizes up when shopping on UK sites.

I had seen other bloggers and models wearing various pieces from the line and I liked how they styled theirs, but I already knew exactly how I would style mine once it arrived. I added a wide-belt to the waistline to cinch that area and since the Spring weather has finally come to the east coast, I was able to rock yellow sandals and actually wear the jumpsuit sleeveless without a cardi. Now I will say that although I have a love for jumpsuits, my only drawback to this one is that there are no pockets on it. But the good thing is that it is very roomy and made of a soft stretchy breathable material making it ultra comfy. In the pics above you’ll see I wore it both with and without the belt and added minimal jewelry and a green ostrich Kate Spade bag.
